MAKE THE RIGHT CHOICE IF YOU WANT TO SEE CHANGE

Posted by Unknown On Sunday, January 17, 2010 20 comments
As humans, God has given us the freedom of choice. On any day, anywhere, we can discipline ourselves to change what we do not like. We can start a new activity or begin the process of a change in our life. We can do it immediately, or next week, or next month, or next year. But where our country is concerned, we cannot wait much longer for that change.

If we remain apathetic, we can also do nothing. We can pretend to ourselves that everything is alright rather than going the extra mile to convince others to come over to our side. If the idea of having to change ourselves makes us uncomfortable, we can remain as we are.

We can choose rest over labor, entertainment over education, delusion over truth, and doubt over confidence. The choices are ours to make. But while we curse the effect, we continue to nourish the cause. We have to decide for ourselves what is truly important for us.

As Shakespeare uniquely observed, "The fault is not in the stars, but in ourselves."

We created our circumstances by our past choices in previous general elections.Today, we have both the ability and the responsibility to make better choices. Those who are in search of a new Malaysia do not need more answers or more time to think things over to reach better conclusions. They need the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

We cannot allow to overlook errors in judgment of politicians or situations in the political climate any more as we see errors that are repeated every day in an evil scheme to lead us down the wrong path.

We must keep coming back to those basics and how much our nation has lost that make the biggest difference in how our life has turned out. Let us not forget the many controversies and scandals that this nation has seen in the last few years. And then we must make the very choices that will bring life, happiness and joy into our daily lives.

For those of you seeking and needing to make changes in our country because you don't like how things are, change it!

You're not a tree. You have the ability to totally transform every area in your life and our country- and it all begins with your very own power of choice.

Make sure you make the right choice at the next elections!!! Do not forget what has happened that justifies that change. Please make it happen by convincing your friends to register as a voter and to vote!

Thanks! Take care and have a lovely evening!

Very Sad We must never allow ourselves to be swayed by petty controversies that are just a lot of noise over nothing. What we actually need is for individuals who are sure of their own beliefs and opinions to stand up firmly and speak up for their rights.

If we think we can't and give up easily, we will not achieve anything! The important thing is to take action ourselves, and not leave things to others. We must never, never take things for granted!

Do not be someone who quickly decides they cannot do something and abandons trying. Let's not gamble on our future!

    Let's have a vibrant can-do spirit.

    We need change!

Perakian To be fair, I must say that the BN government is doing quite well in Perak. However, at the federal level, I dread to think about it.

Anonymous Lim Guan Eng said that the DAP was making good progress in registering more Malays as party members, a situation that was never experienced before in the past.

    Well done, DAP!

My deepest appreciation for your timely and mature comment in response to my post.

In such turbulent times, it would be easy for some to be swayed but we have to stand firm on our beliefs and values lest we be blinded by unimportant issues that cloud the bigger picture.

Fortitude and resilience are most vital during such earth-shattering moments and we have to play our part as you have rightly highlighted here.

How true that we cannot gamble on our future any more and change is sorely and badly needed!

Take care and God bless you!

    Shalom

Thanks for your observation. TO be honest, I must say I have not done any reading to comment on BN's performance in Perak but I do agree with your second observation.

Take care and have a lovely evening. Thanks for swinging by.

    Keep in touch!

Yes, indeed! Ido remember reading that report.

DAP has done a good job here and I know other PR component parties are also trying their best.

Take care and do keep in touch.

Thanks for taking the trouble to share your thoughts.

Unknown BN government is doing quite well in Perak? Is it because BN is always fair in Perak or because BN need to do show due to Perak Crisis.

We, Perakian should not forgive BN due to the Perak Crisis because BN have been rob the people choice of government. We must punish BN in next election. If not, there will be 1 day that same crisis will occurs to federal government.

For example, if 1 robber rob RM10 millions from you and pay you back Rm100 per day, can you say he is doing quite well?

No, we should not tolerence with robber. Show people power to BN & PR. We are the boss of Malaysia.

I agree that BN as a party must not be allowed to dominate the Malaysian political scene any more. Granted that there are some good people within but as a collective unit, the track record all over and even at Federal level has not been too impressive and have yet to account for many discrepancies.

Definitely, all Malaysians must vote PR or continue to face the many issues which befuddle us.

We are the rakyat and the government has to remember that the power of our voice is heard via the ballot box.

Take are and have a good day.

    Cheers

    Perakian Dear Chong,

Obviously you have been perturbed or angered by the Perak imbroglio which has thrown up many unwarranted issues.

Nevertheless, we should be fair to the present Perak state government under the charismatic leadership of Dr Zambry.

We are convinced that the various bold and liberation measures taken by his government have indeed brought much betterment to the everyday life of the Perakians. And he is continuing the reforms of administration to win back the support of the public.

Hence, why not we give him a chance, and a free hand to run the state? Should he fail in his duty, then by all means, vote him out in the next election.

    Salam.

    Unknown Dear Perakian

I hail from Penang and wish to share my two cents worth re this issue.

If I remember correctly, I believe the current BN led Perak state government took only twenty minutes or so to pass the state budget which runs into millions of RM without any debate at all. On that count, I do worry for Perakians.

Secondly, we must also bear in mind the circumstances under which Dr. Zambry came to power. The people's voice in the March 2008 was not honored so I doubt many Perakians would be as gracious as you to give him a chance to rule the state.

Besides, there is also the bridge collapse and many other issues of public concern which plague the state that is still reeling from the debacle.

    So how?

In a democratic system, we all know what is the best solution....

And the people are not being given the privilege to exercise the option because of the powers that be.

That is the sad state of affairs.

Take care and God bless you.

    Salam

  1. says:

Anonymous The bridge collapse in Perak is actually a tragedy, and so is the dragon boat capsize in Penang!

    We shouldn't blame anybody.

  1. says:

Unknown Dear Anonymous @ 3.47 pm

Indeed the recent tragedies concerning school children is a matter of concern and I am halfway through my post on that.

I am not pointing my fingers at anyone or blaming anyone but we have to remember there are many issues about the bridge collapse which I raised in my post Collapse! Collapse! Collapse!.

I pray we will get to the bottom of matters....

    Thanks for your civic consciousness.

Take care and have a good evening.

Embarassing change I was reading your interesteing blogs and checking out old post when this reminds me of a very painfull and enbarassing situation.

Studied in USA, staying in campus hostel, it facinate me why those guys has very visible sexual package that seems to move about as they walk in their Jean. Finally a guy caught me wearing underwear with my Jean. Jeans are traditionally worn without underwear by cowboys and coalminers. Wanting to see change I stopped wearing underwear if on Jeans.
You know only Jean have very large metal Zip that one day got caught to my scrotum skin when I unZip fast while on business trip in a hotel. I phoned the hotel reception for a pair of scissor. A maid came up and fearing I might cut their bedsheets or any hotel property ask what is it for. She help me free my skin from the zip carefully! What an uncontrolable hard-on I had. I resume wearing underwear with Jeans.
