Stand By Me

I am so excited, dear readers...about tomorrow. My blood pressure has shot up to 155/98 and I am trying my best to contain my excitement.

To those readers who live in KL/PJ, please come and support my son's bands as they compete in the Grand Finals of the Top Ten bands in Polo Rocks at the Curve tomorrow, 6-10pm. The stage will be set up somewhere near the fountain. Read more about it in my post HERE.



Just want to dedicate this song to all of you who have stood by me by your presence, connection, friendship and encouragement. Thanks to reader R.G. who sent me this link.

I will put up a post later once I can wind down and contain my excitement. I have not been myself since the results were announced and covet your patience and support. Take care and enjoy this brilliantly exceptional performance of STAND BY ME.

    WOW - the positiveness & the hands/sounds across nations.

    Very upset, tho - Waikiki is my favourite place & your note came to late - besides, wife & me have caregiver duty @ home - Mother in Law, stroke etc & no time to make alternate arrangements - thought I could you face to face.

    Still have a rock & roll time - me I will have a scotch & ginger ale on you { maybe 2 or.......}

    U know, when man & woman are joined in matrimony,do you realize that the two are really not as relevant as:
    1. Father & Mother{both sides},
    2. Nieces & Nephews {both sides}
    3. In laws & out laws
    4} All animals in our care & custody!!!!!

    Oftentimes, wife & I, sit at the patio & wonder WHAT THE DICKENS DO WE DO NEXT!

    The once very efficient & proud parents are now like little babes ,needing so much fuss & attention & yet as we give them all the fuss & attention, we feel somewhat stupid ....

    Ah , well MWS, will write & talk again.

    Ibtisem

    Juanophobia HAS the potential to beat of the 3. To do that they’ll need to:

    Choose the right song
    Perform with confidence
    Display creativity
    Work on the vocals

    Unless the results are based on sms votes, then to INSPIRE the judges becomes the MOST significant factor in winning the contest. Among the top prizes is the chance to cut an album, so the vocals MUST be good. The music can be rearranged but you can’t rearrange the singer.

    This is just my take. I may be completely wrong.
