I Am Shocked!

According to THIS SITE Korean singer Rain topped the 2011 Time 100 Poll in the magazine’s online voting to select the 100 most influential people of the year.

The magazine closed the online poll on April 16 which saw Rain emerging as the 2011 readers’ choice among 203 candidates after securing 444,401 votes.


For your information, Rain was also No.1 in the poll in 2007 and 2007. He won second place in 2008.

Taiwanese singer and actor Jay Chou was in second place with 232,696 votes while British singer Susan Boyle with 170,138 votes.

I was so shocked that Beyonce ranked fifth and Barack Obama was placed on 46th position!

The final list combining the online results with other standards will be announced by Time on April 21.

    Indeed!! And to think almost half a million voted that way!

    Sighs...

    I cannot imagine who Malaysians might vote if such a poll was run. Hmm...come to think of it, I might run that poll :-).
