Someone sent me the following post which I am sharing with you. Special dedication to all dog lovers including Edward, Stephen, StraightTalking and all other readers who are animal lovers, not forgetting Cat-in-Sydney.

The reason a dog has so many friends is that

He wags his tail instead of his tongue.

A dog is the only thing on earth

That loves you more than he loves himself.

My dog is worried about the economy

Because Alpo is up to $3.00 a can.

If you pick up a starving dog and make him prosperous,

He will not bite you;

That is the principal difference

Between a dog and a man.

But they make our lives whole.

Boleh Man Whatever, frogs, dogs, toads, hogs, snakes, monkeys, elephants, armadillo, etc. etc. etc... we are all God's creation.

Surprisingly, I think some of them have more or better brains compared to some human beings.

    edward Dear MWS,

Thank you for the dedication. How sweet they are and all the captions are so true. Dogs are such loyal and faithful friends aren't they? But don't ever let the politicians influence them one bit or they will bark incessantly, LOL!

Have a great weekend, filled with memorable moments.

    Cheers.

ahoo These dogs are just so lovely ! No wonder they are men best friends. Have you heard of how the Penans in the interior of Sarawak uses dogs as their meat carrier ?

It was told to me that during hunting trips, many dogs will be following the hunters. Should the catch for the day be too huge or heavy burden to take it home, the hunters will cut it up into small slices and feed it to the dogs. Upon reaching home, they will tickle/massage the dogs till it vomits. This is the way to retrieve their catch for the day. Not too sure how true is this story and hopefully somebody or reader can confirm it. Cheers !

Yes! I know. At the same time, dogs also know if anyone has eaten dog meat and will growl at that person who devoured one of his kind! It happened to my friend's brother.

Take care and have a lovely weekend.

HER love for stray dogs was so strong that even her hubby had to play second fiddle.

Fed up, he issued an ultimatum – either the dogs went, or he did.

After six months of deliberation, Ms Zeng Yuqing, 42, chose the dogs that she had adopted in Johor, reported Malaysian daily China Press.

That was 10 years ago. The couple then divorced. “If he loves me, he should accept me for who I am,” said Ms Zeng, a Singaporean......"

Johan H My bicycle chain snapped a couple of days ago and I walked 3 kilometers to the only shop that sold bicycle chains near my village. Along the way I made friends with a stray mutt which I called "Doggie" (duh what a name). It followed me with tail wagging. Figuring it was hungry, I bought a loaf of bread, fed it slice by slice and before I knew it, the whole loaf went. It was nice to make a dog happy for a change.
