When you take a long time, you're slow.
When your boss takes a long time, he's thorough.
When you don't do it, you're lazy.
When your boss doesn't do it, he's too busy.
When you make a mistake, you're an idiot.
When your boss makes a mistake, he's only human.
When doing something without being told, you're overstepping your authority.
When your boss does the same thing, that's initiative.
When you take a stand, you're being bull-headed.
When your boss does it, he's being firm.
When you overlooked a rule of etiquette, you're being rude.
When your boss skips a few rules, he's being original.
When you please your boss, you're apple polishing.
When your boss pleases his boss, he's being cooperative.
When you're out of the office, you're wandering around.
When your boss is out of the office, he's on business.
When you have one too many drinks at a social, you're a drunken bum.
When your boss does the same, he appreciated women.
When you're on a day off sick, you're always sick.
When your boss is a day off sick, he must be very ill.
When you apply for leave, you must be going for an interview.
When your boss applies for leave, it's because he's overworked.
Keep smiling and have a great weekend!

Anonymous Your Boss is always right ! That's the reality of the rat-race and the dog-eat-dog world out there.
What that statement in mind I decided to throw in the towel in 1992 at my early thirties and venture out on my own. It was really a tough decision and I never knew how far can I go with 100k then.
When you are with a company of certain repudation, many people are your friend and many more wanted to be closed too. But when you are alone and needed help that's the time you can tell clearly who are your friends.
Well, no venture no gain and with persistency, a supporting wife and an ever loving God who is always there in times of need, I managed to reach a level of comfort in my mid forties.
Life truly begins on your own at forties as many successful people have vouched and richness is certainly not measured by how much assets we have but by how many lives we have touch in our quest to succeed.
When I was young, I worked hard in order for my boss to be rich. Now that I am the boss, I still worked hard so that those working with me can all be rich physically and spiritually.
