HANDSOME MEN, STRESS AND ME

Posted by Unknown On Tuesday, May 19, 2009 7 comments
I had a very tiring holiday in KL rushing here and there, walking so much, going with one bag and coming home with two. As usual, I spent my time at Plaza Low Yat drooling over the latest gadgets, gizmos and what-have-you's. I was quite disciplined this time, coming home with a 250G external drive for hubby, PSP bag and 4G memory card for my younger boy, 8G flash drive for my son and for myself, I bought a wrist rest for my blogging, vacuum cleaner, other maintenance stuff for my computer and of course chocolates!

Believe me - it was very stressful. Flying to KLIA was a nightmare and I was wearing a mask and so were other passengers. Carting the stuff around was no joke and I thought I could come home and relax but alas, today, it has been terribly stressful because my new posts did not appear in my friends' blogrolls. So far, it has only updated one out of the three posts I posted and I am not sure if it will update efficiently but when under stress, what should one do?

Look at slides of handsome men of course :-)....so take a look at the following set of slides...While drooling over them :-), treasure the gems of wisdom in each slide :-).

And now, I need to enjoy some aromatherapy to unwind...Have a nice day!

Unknown Hahaha! Brother James, you are such a bundle of joy and happiness. Seriously, I was in tears after writing my latest post called "From My Perspective" when I saw your comment and hey presto, you made me laugh and smile and for now, the tears have been replaced with smiles....

Take care and I look forward to that post of yours!!!LOL!

    Cheers!

Anonymous My friend, stop! stop! stop! at the rate you are stressing yourself out, you gonna have a nervous breakdown in no time!

I fly up and down KL-SG so often on day trips that it's like taking a plane to work and back. Sure, it's very stressful. People can be rude. People are impatient. People get irritated. I am all that, too and probably a worst culprit.

But I realised -- after reading all these self-help posts in this blog of yours is that happiness is a choice. To let things bother you or let things pass is a choice. To fight every battle or choose which battles to fight is a choice.

So relax, friend. Life is too short to ""sweat the small stuff"

Unknown Thanks Andrea...for that knock :-).

I found it stressful because of the swine flu threat - especially since there is one confirmed case in Penang and KL...not the flying per se...but most stressful is my blog posts which are not updating and how my feed is not validated...Sigh...

I thought I was the only one facing this problem but today, when I checked on Google, 45 000 bloggers are also facing the same problem! And I am one of them...

Worse still, blogger and feedburner have not responded to any of the complaints. Not even Feedmedic bulletins and this silence is really most stressful.

Yes, I guess I have to let it pass...today I am not so worried esp knowing now that I am not the only one in the boat. :-)

    Thanks, dear Andrea.

    Hugs

Anonymous Do you really need to use feedburner?

  1. says:

Unknown Actually, yes...it alerts search engines about your feeds.

But right now, it appears to be a Blogger problem because feedburner is still delivering my posts to subscribers in livebookmark and google reader...

If things don't improve, I will be using my wordpress blogs.

I have three wordpress blogs and six blogspot blogs...and one myspace blog.

Such an addict :-)...But i have already locked all my wordpress, myspace and the other three blogspot blogs so only three are operating.

I will wait a week and then if things don't work out, I will migrate to wordpress.

Thanks, Andrea. I appreciate your support and empathy.

    Have a nice day.
