MY LONG AWAITED MAKEOVER

For many months now, I had been surfing the net almost everyday to scout for a suitable template for this blog. In the past, I used to change my template every three or four weeks but since the beginning of this year, I have only changed my template three times. I have had this pink template since February and it is time to make a change.

For the past one week, I went through probably about three hundred templates and have chosen THIS TEMPLATE.

Please click on THIS LINK TO SEE THE TEMPLATE I HAVE SELECTED to have a preview of what lies ahead. I sincerely seek your support in this matter and hope that my blog readers will not react adversely to the change in template. I know it is difficult to adjust to a new blog template but I seek your patience and understanding in this matter. I certainly hope that I will not lose any of my readers.

The header features my blog name in two rows instead of one because the right section is reserved for banner ads and I do not know how to remove the code despite many attempts. My apologies.

Originally, I wanted to change it to THIS TEMPLATE but a few friends said it was a very 'Winter Warmers meets Laura Ashley meets Aesop' kind of feel and the writing, background and title of the article do not stand out.

The two sites mentioned above are my experimental blogs where I try out newstuff. I do not post at all in those two sites except for a few reposts of articles from this blog.

I will wait one or two days before activating the template change to gauge the response from readers.

Please leave a comment if you wish regarding this template change. I would love to hear your views. Thank you.

Have a nice day.

The Sun has a report about four Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) students in Lendu, Alor Gajah have tested positive for the Influenza A(H1N1) as announced by Health Minister Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai.

The following extract is most interesting and heartening as it shows that some people have common sense :-).....

Meanwhile, a Health Ministry official said the ministry does not wish to be embroiled in a controversy with the Information Communication and Culture ministry over the right term for H1N1.

The official said minister Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai has repeatedly emphasised the use of H1N1 as the standard term of reference for the pandemic virus based on the identification provided by World Health Organisation.

WHO had also said the virus is not caused by eating pork and that it is safe for consumption.

"We don’t want to be dragged into a controversy and don’t want to be seen as going against each other," said the officer today.

"We’ve explained the right terminology and the public is well aware of the right term to use," he said

Recently, Information Communication and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Dr Rais Yatim said all media should return to using "swine flu" instead of H1N1.

    Unknown Hi dear Lita,

Thanks for the comment, my friend. I also like the second one better and it is, like you said, very 'me' :-) cos I love floral designs and the color too. One problem is that I already have another blog "Motion of my Thoughts" which has a pink theme :-(.

The first one is more fumctional cos of the header tabs and sidebar widgets so it is a tough decision.

I appreciate your input my dear and will have to mull over it.

    Thanks, dear Lita.

    Hugs and much love
    Paula
