The following is an inspirational story which I found in the net (Author Unknown). I am posting it as an inspirational piece to all who aspire greatness in your life be it at work, in the family, in the political arena or in your social circles. Have a nice day!

The man was Herbert J. Taylor who surveyed the way the company did it's business, which was the sale of aluminum pots and pans. The nature of the industry was fraught with unethical business practices. To bring the business out of bankruptcy Taylor knew that he had to change the way business was conducted. Ultimately he developed a very simple business philosophy that all employees were to follow in all of their business dealings with customers, suppliers and associates. The philosophy changed the business, turned the business around and ultimately brought it out of bankruptcy.
The business philosophy is a simple four step decision making tool. It didn't tell people what to do or how to think, but it did give them a tool to use in all of their business dealings. The tool is now well known to anyone that has ever associated themselves with Rotary International. It is simple The Four Way Test. The tip is to use this simple decision making tool in your life and see if it doesn't make a difference. As people, we must all stand by our personal honesty and integrity. This is a handy and simple test of what you say, do or think. Give it a try in your life.
The Four Way Test
1. Is it the TRUTH?
2. Is it FAIR to all concerned?
3. Will it build GOODWILL and better friendships?
4. Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
By the way, this tool made Herbert Taylor a multimillionaire in the 1930s. So it's also a very profitable way of doing business.

And may I add...a very good lesson for all politicians. Have a nice day!
Sometimes we take life for granted..sometimes we even take voting for granted. Do you know that voting is vital for a democratic country?
Imagine this conversation:
“The Government is useless, there is nothing they can do to make our lives better. The rising prices, the unemployment, the escalating crime rate etc. they have no answers”, said Ah Meng.
“Well, if you are really concerned about all these things, you should have voted, Ah Meng!”, said Joven. “Maybe a better candidate would have won, and may be he would have taken some effective measures for improvement…Unless you vote you cannot blame the government!”
Well if you are one of those people who think voting is a waste of time but keep on complaining about how our government is a complete failure; then it is time you realize the importance of voting. Do your bit towards enhancing the governmen! Here are some reasons why people should vote…
1. Vote in an election for a state councillors, ADUNs, Members of Parliament etc because they have the rights to formulate policies that will affect :
* your children and descendants,your loved ones and friends
* your job
* your taxes
* your town
* your country
* your entire life
2. Voting gives you the right to choose the leader that YOU want
3. People elected set the educational policies which in turn shape the future of children and the nation.
4. Elected representatives have the power to decide most vital issues in our life. Health care, highways, jobs, taxes or even food.
5. So would you be comfortable in letting “anybody” take over these powers?
6. Voting is necessary for a healthy democracy.
7. If you are a registered voter, exercise your right to opinion. Your right to vote is your right to expression and opinion. Do not take your right for granted.
Take leave to go back to your hometown no matter how inconvenient. Try and appreciate the power of voting.
You can make the difference. EXERCISE IT. REGISTER TO VOTE TODAY.

*Many thanks to Romerz for this comment which I have included in this post :
Even if you don't believe that a single vote may count or that none of the candidates or parties offered are up to your mark, you should still register as a voter or at least turn up at the polls.
This will make it more difficult for cheating to take place.
If you do not wish to vote for anyone but by going to the polls to claim your ballot, you would have at least made it more difficult for someone else who covets your vote.
