I share the same sentiments, my dear feline friends.
How are you guys doing during this football season? The next two days would be a brief respite before the madness begins again.
Take care and have a lovely day!

Cat-from-Sydney Aunty Paula,
With no vuvuzelas in the background, at least we can all talk like civilised beings in this house. Oh, been watching tennis too. It's so sad that Federer bowed out last night. Oh well...big balls, small balls, when someone has to win, there's always someone else who'll have to lose, right? har har har *evil laughs*

nick Sis,
Those laws ARE crazy but on the other hand THE PEOPLE who proposed, supported and passed the law are the real crazy ones! Laws are words after all, it's the brains behind the words that are crazy.
For instant let's look at the infamous ISA that Gomen like so much. It was supposed to be for fighting CT (Tun Razak argued this reasoning to get the Parliament to passed it) BUT now we have ISA being used on journalist for their own "safety" (ensuring safety by imprisoning someone! How Albarishly genius is that?).
Then earlier, much earlier, the ISA was used in Operasi Lalang (such unimaginative name but again it reveals the true intention behind it) with the express intention of preventing civil unrest (race riot). But the thing that is most perplexing (crazy)is that those people who were the instigators, agitators and the "batu ronson (as opposed to batu api) were not hauled up in jailed, instead the opposition party members and leaders (who had nothing to do whatsoever with the alleged instigation of race riot) are the one who were jailed and punished without any legal recourse (anyone who is still an admirer of The Senile Octo'poo'brain by now should leave Malaysia and go live with Robert Mugabe or Kim Jong Il).
Now that is CRAZY! Such a crazy implementation of an absurd (I don't see it as crazy, just totally ridiculous) law. In that respect, Malaysia is way ahead of everybody else. Why, we may not have crazy laws (just absurd and insanely ridiculous) but we monopolize the craziness (or should I say, "the importance of being earnest"ly crazy) in implementing our law. No crazy laws but just crazy lawmakers!
Crazy ain't it, Sis but then again if our law are not crazy but proposed and passed by crazies, wouldn't that make the law crazy too! What paradox! Crazy laws passed (and proposed) by sane people and sane laws passed by crazy people with crazy implementation! Oh..oh... I gone crazy myself Sis!
Have a nice day though, Sis.
Nick.

Unknown Dear Nick
Once again, you have taken the cue from the post. :-) It is great to know that you can detect the subtle nuances in my blog titles and content!!! Terima kasih!!!
Thank you for highlighting important points to remind us of the ridiculous and absurd conditions we have in our midst. Double standards as requirements are different for different people.
I reckon the worse thing is the crazy ones think they are sane and clever and have dismissed the rest of us as insane and useless creatures who must do nothing but their bidding. And there are people insane enough to do just that!!
Alamak - I am also going crazy with such bizarre trends!
Take care and thanks for sharing, Nick. Wishing you good health, love, joy and blessing upon blessing for you and your family always.
