FOR A BRAND NEW DAY...

I am not really as religious as I used to be but the following post that was sent to me by rainstorm is indeed a timely reminder during such challenging times that we face in our country that we have to pray more lest the situation spirals downwards even more. Whatever your faith, may this be your prayer this morning to your God as you begin a new day. Thanks, rainstorm for sharing. Have a great day everyone!


Dear GOD,

I want to thank You for what you have already done.
I am not going to wait until I see results or receive rewards; I am thanking you right now.
I am not going to wait until I feel better or things look better; I am thanking you right now.
I am not going to wait until people say they are sorry or until they stop talking about me; I am thanking you right now.
I am not going to wait until the pain in my body disappears ; I am thanking you right now.
I am not going to wait until my financial situation improves; I am going to thank you right now.
I am not going to wait until the children are asleep and the house is quiet; I am going to thank you right now.
I am not going to wait until I get promoted at work or until I get the job; I am going to thank you right now.
I am not going to wait until I understand every experience in my life that has caused me pain or grief; I am thanking you right now.
I am not going to wait until the journey gets easier or the challenges are removed;
I am thanking you right now. I am thanking you because I am alive. I am thanking you because I made it through the day's difficulties. I am thanking you because I have walked around the obstacles.

I am thanking you because I have the ability and the opportunity to do more and do better
I'm thanking you because YOU haven't given up on me.

God is just so good, and he's good all the time. Send this message to all your friends, not to the friend who sent it to you and continue to THANK HIM.

    nick Sis,

    Your post is very apt for us in this troubled time. I think it's a great idea too for all Malaysian from every religion and belief to start praying together for "THE ALMIGHTY TO DELIVER US FROM UMNO, BN AND ALL THOSE WHO SEEK TO ENSLAVE AND DESTROY THIS NATION AND ITS PEOPLE". Let us start praying now and continuously until our prayers are heard and GOD's wills it so. (AND PLEDGE TO NEVER AGAIN VOTE FOR THE CORRUPT AND EVIL, NO MATTER HOW SWEET IS THEIR PROMISES AND BRIBES)! Lets make a deal with THE ALMIGHTY and not with the evildoers and the corrupt!

    This is what we get for voting BN. Wage earners are made to suffer and are told to change their lifestyle. Why don't the BN leaders change theirs? This is the result of BN's plundering that left us to pay more for basic necessities.

    johnnie lim Thanks for this article, which lifted me up after reading the depressing news again. I hope the saying "it is always darkest before the dawn" rings true for malaysia. I can't wait for dawn to come soon.

    Anonymous It matters not how we look at the situation in our country now. The rots has set in and the rotteness cannot be hidden anymore. The stinks has reaches high heaven and it is a matter of time before more people wake up to reality. They will realise that they have been taken for a good ride by the bn govt.

    The govt that cares will have no qualms in cutting down all wastages but this govt is going overdrive in spending. Announcing billions here and there to be spent and borrowing like no tomorrows. Deficit is no their lingo but spending like a spoilt brat, yes there are.

    When accountability, honesty and transparency are swear words to them, let us pray for God's mercy for them. Beside lamenting, let us just show them the way,....ya to the opposition camp. But better still get these goons to retire and advise them to rest in peace.
    For it causes the nation TOO MUCH to upkeep them with allowances.
