The Sunday Paper

Recently, I had a visitor from out of town who wanted to get a hand phone so we went to TESCO @ E-Gate to see my friend who sells hand phones at reasonable prices. After making his purchase, we made our way to the car park. My friend said that I had parked my car on the first floor whereas I distinctly remembered that I had parked it on the ground floor but I could not remember the exact location.

My friend led me to the spot where he thought I had parked my car. Nope. My car was not there. So I pressed the alarm. It came from a distance and we walked towards the screaming siren. Then I pressed the switch to stop the irritating siren. It had confirmed my suspicions that my car was indeed parked on the ground floor.

Mind you, this happens to me very often whenever my son is not with me. He has officially been given the heavy responsibility of remembering stuff for me. :-) Does anyone of you have similar problems?

In the same vein of thought, here's a post that Angela just sent me via email. I sure hope that it does not happen to me haha. :-) Take care and have a great afternoon! Do leave a comment to share your thoughts or experiences. Thanks!

The Sunday Paper

This is dedicated to all of us who are seniors, to all of you who know seniors, and to all of you who will be seniors :-).

"WHERE is my SUNDAY paper?!"

The irate customer calling the Toronto Star newspaper office, loudly demanded to know where her Sunday edition was.

"Madam", said the Star employee, "today is Saturday. The Sunday paper is not delivered until tomorrow, on SUNDAY".

There was quite a long pause on the other end of the phone, followed by a ray of recognition as she was heard to mutter, ..

..."Well, dear me, that explains why no one was at church either."

CLY Now that you have bought a phone and if it has a camera function, take a photo of your parking lot each time you park your car in a shopping complex. Hope this help
