When driving...

When with your best friends...

Or on a visit to a museum...

Or on a drive to enjoy scenic sights....

Materials goods used to sedate and lull the people into passive, unthinking herds. This deterioration is the price we pay for our so-called progress. But where will this progress take us? Now, someone tell me if we would like to see our children this way in the future? Obsessed with the self yet not really knowing the self.

Unknown Thank you, Light, for your thought-provoking comment which rings so true.

Just to add to your view, in some cases - material goods, especially for children, are purchases by adults as status symbols for their loved ones to carry.

Worse still, they carry on using such devices thinking that they are cool or smart or better than others when in fact, the brain is being underutilized.

Sighs...

The price society has to pay....
