Recently, Google has further developed its Transparency Report to include maps of spots around the world where hackers are laying traps or baiting Internet users.

In 2006, Google launched its Safe Browsing program to warn Internet travelers when they were heading for trouble such as bogus bank websites or pages booby-trapped with computer viruses.

Apparently, they are flagging up to 10,000 sites a day. This technology is shared with other browsers so about one billion users are kept safe, thanks to Google.

CLICK HERE to access that Safe Browsing Information site which shows how malware hotspots include India and Central Europe.

Just explore the site and you will be amazed at the volume of information to be unravelled.

Have an enlightened day browsing ...safely!
