Three Fruits You Should Not Eat On An Empty Stomach

Fruits are a wonder food for human. We are always loaded with health articles, saying that fruits eaten before meal is the correct way of eating fruits.

However, this theory is not applicable to all type of fruits. In fact, this healthy food can hurt us if we consume it in a wrong way!

Most of acid foods such as soft drinks, processed meats, refined carbohydrates and red meats are well-known with the negative effects on our health.

But, did you know that some of the fruits are actually acidic? No, these fruits are still healthy to be consumed, only if you eat them in the right way.

Tomato
Tomato is rich in pectin, persimmon acid and dissoluble astringent phytochemicals. If we eat tomato with an empty stomach, the natural acidic juice will combine with our stomach acid which leads to chemical reaction with the gastric juices, and eventually causes stomach ache.

Banana
Although banana is a good source of potassium, but it contains lots of magnesium. Eating TOO many bananas with empty stomach can cause a sudden increase of the level of magnesium in our blood. This can cause a disturbance of calcium-and-magnesium levels in the blood. Eventually, this might affect your cardiovascular system. Have one or two but not too many of bananas please.

Lychee
Lychees should be avoided before meal. The sugar level in lychees is very high. Thus, eating lychees with an empty stomach will increase our blood's osmotic pressure.   These fruits mentioned above can be superbly healthy for our body and mind, if we eat in healthy way. However, the advice below might not suit everyone, as some can tolerate fruits in an empty stomach. Well, no two individual are carbon copy of each other (except if they are clones).
