Unbelievable but true: I am a football maniac. My husband and I spent most of our dates at the Penang City Stadium watching Malaysia Cup matches. I never missed a single match and yelled till my voice was hoarse for footballers such as Isa Bakar, Soh Chin Aun, Santokh Singh, Mokhtar Dahlan etc. Those were the glorious days of Malaysian football. Anyway, coming back to the topic...the World Cup 2014 fever is starting soon. I am going to zzz at about 9am or earlier to watch Brazil vs Croatia at 4.a.m.

Important information:


From today, there will be:

Increase in absenteeism at school/college/university/work etc
Increase in sale & consumption of junk food..drinks
Mamak shops with big screens will untong
Productivity may decline
Increase in husband-wife/boyfriend-girlfriend quarrels
Increase in waistlines
Increase in weight
Increase in blood pressure readings

Increase in incidence of football enthusiasts forgetting to fetch kids/siblings
Increase in sale of takeaway dinners or home deliver pizzas
Increase in cholesterol n sugar level cos gum chewing n chip consumption plus muruku etc will be consumed at insane rate reaching feverish pitch at finals
