This one I caught in the SGV Tribune the other day and called the Editorial Room and asked who wrote this. It took two or three readings before the editor realized that what he was reading was impossible! They put in a correction the next day.

I am sure you have a better idea than me re kitty cats' laughter :-).I often wonder how you cope with so many cats...Grooming them, feeding them and spending quality time with them must take up lots of your time and energy but the rewards cannot be quantified.
Haha! Do Brad and Pingu watch TV too? My hubby likes Pingu best and cannot believe it is a tom-cat. I kind of like Ginger too :-). Alas, I rarely watch tv....but i watch movies though :) and cartoons!! Love Josie and the Pussycats lol!!

Correction: tom-cat is a term you use for male cats that haven't been neutered. Pingu has been neutered, therefore, he's not a tom-cat. I'm supposed to be Pingu's fiancee, but who's marrying him? Eugh!!

I think this is the case of sub-editors trying to be too clever. Nothing to do with proofreading! David Letterman always has something similar in his Small Town News segment.(this cat watches talk shows too, sometimes)
