Ohyes, after 10 years of guardianship for Indonesian students, i have seen some pretty horrendous and hilarious letters of excuses for no-show.
Cheers !

Unknown Dear brother James,
My cousin who resides in US sent it to me..Another friend from Penang had sent it to him and then it bounced back to me :-) ...This is what I call the circle of jokes.
Actually, I have not been well for two weeks already - which is why I have not been writing too much.
It all started when I got upset after reading Marley and Me and my blood pressure has yet to return to normal...So I am trying to laugh a lot to become normal again LOL!!! And I am not reading the news in the mean time cos that would surely make my blood boil.
Take care...
Cheers

uncle james Dear MWS,
I am sure all your regular readers must have sensed that you are a bit "off-color" these 1-2 weeks. I could feel it, because i am also not in pretty good shape & mood myself.
But i have a wonderful antidote - because all my nieces & nephews are here. And they can't be disappointed, right?
The BBQ must go on.( this time with wifey being the event-manager cum purchaser cum dishwasher)
The nocturnal sneaking out of the house with 5 little sharks at 1am for some roti tissue at Steven' Corner must go on.
We all wish you MORE than enough good health so that you can carry on giving us our "daily fix" of your nuggets of inspiration.
Get well soon....let's laugh louder when you can laugh more healthily.
God Will Bless You, i am sure, because you are always giving blessings & well wishes to so many others.
THANK YOU.
