THE PARABLE OF TWO EVIL MEN

Once upon a time, in a land far, far away, there were two evil friars living outside this small village. The friars had tried unsuccessfully to overtake and capture the town, but finally this time, they believed they had hit upon a foolproof scheme that would allow them to rule the village. They had, through mad scientist experiments in their floral shop, come up with a plant that would devour the townspeople one by one until none were left. They set forth to put their plan into action by planting the man-eating plants so they encircled the village.

As the plants rapidly grew, they began devouring everything living in their path.

The townspeople grew frightened; who or what would save them from their eminent doom?

Finally, the town's elder remember Hugh, a woodcutter who lived on the outskirts of town. Frantically, the townspeople penned a desperate plea for help, tied it to the leg of a pigeon, and directed the bird toward Hugh's cabin.

Meanwhile, outside of town, Hugh had received the note from the townspeople, and realizing they were in grave danger, set forth to do what he needed to do. He honed his mightiest axe to razor-sharpness, grabbed his hat, and off he went.

Chopping his way through the dense vines, he single-handedly destroyed the carnivorous plants one by one, until all were destroyed. Then he set out to rid the village of the evil friars, chasing them out of town. The town was saved!!! The people rejoiced and knighted Hugh for his brave and timely efforts to save the village!!!

And the moral of the story is:

Hugh, and only Hugh, can prevent florist friars. (You and only you can prevent forest fires.)

InjusticeSistem In a fairytale, this would be da outcome....in real life....not so.
The two friars realise there is a 'Hugh' problem, dey decided to offer some greedy coward power money hungry villagers to poison Hugh, in return some of these villagers will be given:-
    1) land
    2) some will be made head of the village
    3) some will be given some money to marry 4 wives, keep 8 mistresses
    4) some will be given AP to import Mercedes
Those who refuse to be bought, will be categorised as communist/immigrant and will be turn into slaves when Hugh is eventually defeated, not if defeated. These slaves will be forced to work the land for free, and if they refuse they will be thrown into jail.
In the end, da florist friar control da land, some villagers will get free land n free labour, da guy who kill Hugh will be made head village, da men who participate in killing Hugh will be give APs n money....
That will be da correct scenario...
But there will be a definite outcome, that is...
    1) the slaves will try to escape, some successful and some will die.
    2) When there are no more slaves to work da land, da land owners will hv no crop,
    3) da money spent on 4 wives dried up,
    4) no one can afford to buy mercedes and da AP holder hv worthless paper in their hand
With so much riches plunder, the friar will leave this land. The greedy villagers will be left with nothing.....
And the slaves who managed to escape and thrive in another land, they will cry tears of pain to witness the slow death of their brothers from the same village...
If only they had stuck together with Hugh.......if only they werent so deaf dumb n blind by all da land/APs/sex with 4 wives n 8 mistresess....if only....

What a brilliant response to the parable! Thank you so much for your creative and yet realistic analogous response!

However, in reality, I hope none will have to suffer or to die in such a chaotic and senseless situation propelled by the evil forces of greed.

And yet, we can only dream and say "If only..."

But still, destiny is in our hands and it is still a reversible situation....

Take care and have a great weekend. Do keep in touch!

    Cheers

sinkeh In the land of Hugh fans where satire and puns and enjoyed far and wide, the friars resorted to ISA when all seemed lost.
