BEAUTIFUL THOUGHTS FOR BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE

Thanks to rainstorm who sent me the following post with such lovely pictures. This is only half of the post. I decided to post it in two instalments for us to savor the beautiful thoughts and illustrations.

Anger is a condition in which the tongue works faster than the mind .

You can't change the past, but you can ruin the present by worrying over the future!

Love...and you shall be loved.

God always gives His best to those who leave the choice with Him.

All people smile in the same language.

Everyone needs to be loved....especially when they do not deserve it.

The real measure of a man's wealth is what he has invested in eternity.

Laughter is God's sunshine.

Everyone has beauty but not everyone sees it.

It's import ant for parents to live the same things they teach.

Thank God for what you have, TRUST GOD for what you need.

If you fill your heart with regrets of yesterday and the worries of tomorrow,
you have no today to be thankful for.

Man looks at outward appearance but the Lord looks within.

I am sure somewhere out there is a superior being that many refer to as God in different languages/references. Yet, for others, $$ seems to be their God.

How many of us can attest to that statement ? To some their meaning of eternity is building a kingdom on this land that will last them many generations. They care not how others are living below the poverty line.

Matt 6:19-21

Lay not up yourselves treasures upon earth,....

But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven,....

For where your treasure is, there your heart be also.

What do you consider your "treasure," your most valued possession? The above passages teach us not too place too much value on physical possessions, which we can't take along with us. Rather, we are to place our hopes and focus on spiritual matters as well.

Good heavens!! We were in the same church in the 1980's and worked on one Christmas musical together!! Lovely to hear from you and to be reconnected via blogosphere!
