The Endorsement I Needed

I confess - I *heart* chocolates!!! Imagine my delight when I came across this article in Mail Online which said that researchers have opined that eating chocolate could cut the risk of heart disease and stroke by a third.

At the same time, they are puzzled as to how and why some of the benefits could simply stem from the ‘feel-good’ effect of a tasty treat.

The article said:

The biggest review ever carried out into the subject found that eating at least two pieces of chocolate a week is linked to a 37 per cent drop in the chances of developing cardiovascular disease. Those who indulged also saw a 29 per cent fall in the risk of stroke compared with those who ate fewer than two squares a week.

There you go - the endorsement I needed to 'legalize' my passion for chocolates generally fueled by friends who return from overseas. :-)

This is romblonwriter. I just wonder if I could place ads on your site.
I am now affiliated with an ad agency but my earnings will depend on the earnings of my clients. If they earn, I earn.

Thanks for reaching out. For a long time, I have been struggling with the idea of placing ads in my blog and earning money doing sth I love - writing and blogging.

However, as you can see, there are no advertisements in this blog.

As an idealist, I want to do sth for non-monetary gains, especially when writing about social issues. So I can affirm that my stand or content is not because of my motivation for $$$. It has been a tough journey because I spend money blogging instead of earning money via blogging like most do.

I spent a lot of time developing and modifying my template and seriously think ads would spoil the aesthetics in my blog.

As such, I am sorry to say that for the moment, I do not want to host any ads in my blog for the reasons mentioned above. No offense meant. I hope you understand and that this does not affect our friendship.

Take care and do keep in touch. God bless you.

    Best wishes
